Overview

Checklist ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights over it.

What we collect

Account data

When you create a Checklist account we collect your email address and the name you provide. We use this to authenticate you and associate your tasks with your account.

Task and list data

Your tasks, lists, due dates, and preferences are stored on our servers to enable cloud sync. This data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We do not read your task content.

Usage data

We collect minimal, anonymized analytics — crash reports and aggregate feature usage — to improve the app. We do not sell or share this data with third parties. We do not use advertising SDKs.

Purchase data

Subscription and purchase information is handled by RevenueCat and Apple. We do not store your payment details. We only receive confirmation of whether your subscription is active.

How we use your data

To provide and sync your tasks across devices
To authenticate you and maintain your account
To process subscription status via RevenueCat
To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
To fix bugs and improve app performance

We never sell your data. We never use your data to show you ads.

Data retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Preferences → Account → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and takes effect within 30 days.

Your rights

Depending on your location you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@vsell.uk.

Children

Checklist is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email and update the date at the top of this page.
